With expertise in anxiety and depression, life transitions, emotion regulation, parenting issues, neurodiversity, and couples therapy, Alison is dedicated to helping you build resilience and cultivate self-compassion.

With an Applied Bachelor of Arts in Behavioural Psychology and a Master’s in Counselling Psychology, Alison brings several years of experience working with parents, families, and couples. She utilizes a blend of therapeutic approaches—CBT, DBT, ACT, Compassion-Focused Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)—tailored to your unique needs.

Alison’s Specialties:

Couples Therapy (EFT)
Alison works with couples using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), helping partners strengthen their emotional bonds and improve communication. Through EFT, couples can better understand each other’s needs and create a healthier, more connected relationship where they can address issues such as infidelity, lack of trust, addiction to porn etc.

Anxiety and Depression
Struggling with persistent feelings of worry or sadness can feel isolating. Alison offers a compassionate space to explore the root of these emotions and develop effective tools to manage them. Take the first step toward rediscovering joy and peace.

Life Transitions
Major changes, whether personal or professional, can be overwhelming. Alison helps you navigate life’s transitions with clarity and confidence. Let her support you in embracing new opportunities and facing challenges head-on.

Emotion Regulation
If you find it difficult to manage strong emotions, Alison can help you develop strategies to understand, express, and control your feelings. Together, you can build emotional balance and resilience.

Parenting Issues
Parenting comes with its own set of challenges. Alison provides guidance and practical strategies to help you navigate the complexities of parenting, fostering a healthier relationship with your children and yourself.

Neurodiversity
Alison works with individuals who experience the world differently, offering support for those with ADHD, autism, and other neurodiverse experiences. She tailors her approach to celebrate strengths and address unique challenges, empowering you to thrive.

Outside of her practice, Alison is a parent who loves to explore nature and express her creativity through photography and drawing.
